DCANet’s datacenter at 1016 Delaware Avenue in Wilmington,
DE is the premier space for hosting, managing and deploying your mission critical
Internet and electronic information services. Colocators at DCANet’s datacenter
benefit from state-of-the-art infrastructure, security, protection and bandwidth,
specifically designed to accommodate high volume, mission critical hardware.
Network bandwidth and connectivity for DCANet’s data
center is provided by multiple carriers and diverse entrance facilities. In
addition, DCANet owns and operates its own DWDM network interconnecting its
datacenters in Wilmington, DE and Philadelphia, PA via a diverse private dark
fiber network. This protected optical ethernet network provides high capacity
transit at gigabit and greater capacities, network redundancy and self-healing
capabilities.
The AC electrical system in the building is highly scalable
and serviced by redundant 50 KVA online UPS systems with an on-site, automatic
diesel generator backup. Environmental controls are provided by redundant air
handlers to maintain temperatures and humidity within proper operating thresholds.
