Email Setup
The following information will be required by your email program:
- The incoming mail server (POP3 and IMAP supported): postoffice.dca.net
- The outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp-relay.dca.net
Unauthenticated connections to smtp-relay.dca.net are only permitted from DCANet IP addresses.
- The Return Address is your username @dca.net
If you have your own domain name, the return address is your username @yourdomain.com
News Setup
If you wish to use Usenet (also known as Internet Newsgroups), you must tell your news reader (sometimes this is also your mail reader) where to get and post messages:
- The News ("NNTP" or "Usenet") server: news.dca.net
- The news server does not require a password.
- This service is only available to customers with DCANet Internet connections.
